Has anyone been to a gallery before?

If so describe visits and exhibitions.

Has anyone seen a photography exhibition before?

If so describe where and what seen.

Examining specific photographs: Ask students to describe what is happening in an image.

What are some of the conclusions we make about the image?

Why do we make these conclusions?

Do the photographs tell a story individually?

How do they work collectively?

As an introduction to the children taking their own photos: Has anyone taken photos before?

If so, of what and why did you chose that subject.

Did you use a traditional film camera or a digital camera?
