Commissioned by T-Mobile, the 64 square metre sculpture is to be a laminated cast acrylic sculpture with embedded lighting effects (LEDÕs) producing unique halos within a matrix of light. The textures, colours and patterns cast by the piece are determined by the interlayer laminated into the plastic panels. This will give extraordinary textural and colour qualities. The piece will change its appearance with the ambient light levels in the space, enabling the viewer to see the piece alter over the course of the day. The panels will appear to shimmer slowly like light dappled leaves.
