Steve Herne Currently a Lecturer in Art in Education at Goldsmiths College, University of London, Steve Herne was formerly the Curriculum Advisor for Visual Arts in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. He has also taught art in secondary schools in Avon and London. He was a project co-ordinator for Islington Schools' Environmental Project and served as an Education Advisor to the London Arts Board, as well as Co-ordinator of the London Association for Art and Design Education, and currently edits their journal and website. He is also a co-editor of the International Journal for Art and Design Education (iJADE). His research interests include curriculum studies, museum and gallery education and artists in schools.
